Sugar & Spice Makes Everything Nice

Pairs Well With… Friendship & Foodie Flare

When time allows, I LOVE to make homemade gifts for people.  It’s a nice, personal touch that holds so much meaning.  This week, I created a gift set for a foodie friend of mine that was comprised of:

  • Cinnamon Chipotle Rub
  • Zesty Taco Seasoning
  • Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream Topping

Here’s a quick, easy and cost effective way to add extra flavor to everyday meals!

CHIPOTLE CINNAMON RUB

 Ingredients:

1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
1 Tablespoon Chipotle Pepper
1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
1/2 Tablespoon Sugar
1/2 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
1/2 Tablespoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Paprika
1/2 teaspoon Minced Onion
Dash of pepper (to taste)

Mix together the above and place in a gifting jar.  Makes 1/4 C of seasoning, enough for four chicken breasts or pork chops, or two blocks of cubed tofu.
